  1. Having been duly elected by the delegates present at the 117th annual encampment of the Department of Maryland SUVCW held in Alexandria, Virginia April 24, 2004, command of the Department is hereby assumed and established at 808 Wilson Rd. Wilmington, DE 19803.

  2. I wish to thank the officers and members of the Maryland Department for the trust they have placed in me by electing me their Commander. I will do all in my power to live up to that trust.

  3. I extend a hearty thanks to our Past Department Commander Ralph R. Miller, Jr. for his years of dedicated service to our Department. I know he will continue to serve the Order in the coming years.

  1. I look forward to an active year and encourage all camps to notify me of their meetings and special events. Whenever possible I will attempt to attend in person or find another Department Officer who can attend.

  2. Some of my goals this year are to increase membership, establish new camps, and improve communication among the camps. In addition I would like to see us do more to promote the growth of the Allied Orders throughout the Maryland Department. Look for further details on plans regarding these goals in the coming months.
