Department Order No. 1
Headquarters
Department of Maryland, April 25,2006
1.
Having been elected to be Department Commander by

to that trust.

3.
I am looking forward to a productive year and
encourage all camps to notify me of their
meetings and special events. I will attempt to
attend meetings and special events at as many
Camps as possible. If I am unable to attend a
special event, I will request a Department
Officer to represent the Department in my stead
whenever possible. I encourage the Department
Officers and other members of the department to
visit camps other than their own as a means of
getting different ideas that can work to improve
all our camps.
4.
My goals this year are to continue our efforts to
increase membership, establish new camps, and
improve communication among the camps. The camps
in the Department can benefit substantially from
the support which can be provided by the Allied
Orders. Camps will do well to encourage their
growth and close cooperation.
In
Fraternity, Charity, and Loyalty,
R.
Keith Young, Maryland Department Commander
