1.     The Commander, Department of Maryland, takes pleasure in commending Brother Michael Virts of Lincoln-Cushing Camp #2,
        for outstanding performance in recruiting new members for the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.

2.     Brother Virts has recruited five new members for the Lincoln-Cushing Camp #2, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War,
        in the period between March 2006 and December 2006.

3.     Brother Virts' success in recruiting new members brings great credit to himself and is in the finest tradition of our order's
        mission to perpetuate the memory of the Grand Army of the Republic and the men who saved the Union 1861 to 1865.
